Shooting Star Partners These corporations donate $5000 + annually. We recognize these donors with corporate descriptions, links, and logos on our website. They are also featured periodically on our social media and are recognized at events and event specific publications.
Platinum Partners These corporations donate $3000 + annually. We recognize these donors with descriptions and logo links on our website. They are recognized at events and specific event publications.
Gold Partners These corporations donate $1250+ annually. We recognize these donors with logos and mentions through our website and specific event publications.

Adoption Dreams Come True is happy to meet with your group to talk about our agency and the impact we have on Colorado children and families. We can also help with ideas that impact local families such as diaper and clothing drives for children 0-2 years of age. Our Dream Room always needs community support as it is dependent on donations to continue to help children in need.

Adoption Case Worker
Full time position, Monday-Friday 9 to 5, with some evening and weekend on-call. Candidate must be organized, adaptable, a self-starter and able to work well with a small team. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office. Position to start 2Q 2018.
Perform Home Studies and Home Study updates for the agency (SAFE interviews and written SAFE document, site inspections, fingerprinting and background checks from CDHS, CBI and FBI)
Initial birth parent counseling for all available options, including resourcing if BP choses to parent
Birth parent counseling and assistance including: pre-birth support, hospital counseling and discharge, placement of baby and any other miscellaneous areas necessary to provide optimum care. Support at hospital for birth could range from 10 hours – 6 days depending on where the birth parent resides
Adoptive family support includes counseling, portfolio feedback, post placement contact
Crisis counseling as needed
Preparation, filing and follow-up for all legal documents for birth parent relinquishment and adoptive parent finalization, writing post placement reports for the courts, as well as communication with ADCT attorney, outside attorneys, judges, clerks and PI’s
Community outreach-spokesperson for agency on high school and college campuses and with other community agencies (i.e. Night Lights, SLICE, etc), including bi-annual update of outreach list and distribution of materials to interested agencies
Maintain accurate and current information in all
internal data bases and paper files
Knowledge of child welfare and development
Demonstrated strong case management skills
Minimum of five years paid professional work experience in counseling, adoption, child development or related field
SAFE Certification (certification possible after hiring)
Bachelor’s degree in a social or behavioral science OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of two years’ work experience supervised by an individual with a Master of Social Work or other Master’s degree in the social or behavioral sciences
Must reside in Northern Colorado Area
Must have reliable auto, valid driver’s license and $100,000 car insurance policy
Other considerations a plus:
A Master’s degree in Social Work and experience as a placement supervisor
Professional work experience in the Department of Human Services
Experience writing SAFE home studies
ŸApplicant must have three references including one from most recent supervisor ŸStarting salary range $30,000-$34,000 – based on experience and background ŸBenefits include 401K match, health insurance subsidy, 11 paid vacation days, 1 week vacation in year one
