Dear Birth Parents,
We are Becky and Andrew. First, thank you so much for considering us as the parents to love your child. We are so passionate about the possibility of bringing a child into our family and sharing our love, home, community, and our life of adventure, passion, and learning. We have been married for 5 years and have been together for 13! We have wanted to bring a child into our family for many years now and believe adoption is right for us.
We got to know each other in Costa Rica where we were both studying abroad for a college program and were brought together by our shared love of animals, the environment, and adventures outdoors. Once we graduated college, we knew we wanted to be together and experience the world together. We followed each other to graduate school in the San Francisco Bay Area where we both got our PhD’s. Becky now works in conservation and animal protection and Andrew works in public health studying child health and development. Since 2018, we have lived in Fort Collins and have felt at home here. We love spending time with our two dogs, Sasha and Bella, and love rock climbing, camping, mountain biking, fostering dogs and spending time with the close friends and community we have developed here.
We are so overjoyed about bringing a child into our life and giving that child our unconditional love. We promise to give your child our love, freedom to make choices with our guidance, the opportunity to teach us how to be the best parents possible, a supportive community, endless adventures, learning and nature as a central part of our lives, and a closeness of family that comes with time spent together. We admire how strong you are in making this difficult decision for your child and we are so grateful that you are considering us.
