Dear Birth Parents,
We would like to begin by expressing our deep admiration for your courage and strength. The decision you are making is one of love, sacrifice, and selflessness, and we want you to know that we honor and respect you for it. Thank you for the opportunity to share our story with you.
We have been married for nine years and together for eleven. We first met while serving on active duty in the Navy in Norfolk, Virginia, in 2014, and our shared experiences built a strong foundation of trust, respect, and love. 2 Years later, on Halloween of 2016 we got married. Today, we share a wonderful home filled with laughter, warmth, and the company of our two dogs and a cat.
Family is the heart of our lives. Both of our parents are thrilled at the thought of becoming grandparents, and we are blessed with an incredible support system of family and friends who cannot wait to welcome a child with open arms. For us, family isn’t just about blood—it’s about love, loyalty, and the people you hold closest to your heart. That is why adoption feels so right for us; it is the path we believe we are meant to take to grow our family.
We are both fun-loving, caring, and a little nerdy at heart. Joey is a huge superhero and movie fan, while Carmen loves books, playing video games, and baking up a storm in the kitchen. We’re best friends who love making each other laugh and are always planning the next adventure together, and we can’t wait to share that joy with a child. We promise to nurture them, encourage their passions, and provide a home full of love, safety, and support.
If you choose us, your child will grow up knowing they are cherished beyond measure—not only by us but by our entire family. They will always know their story and the deep love and courage that brought them into our lives.
