Dear Birth Parents,
We are thrilled to be on this journey together. While we don’t yet know one another, we are positive this experience will be extraordinary. After much soul searching and years of reflecting, we are certain that adoption is the right path for us to start our family. We can’t imagine what you must be thinking, feeling, wondering right now, but your courage and strength are clear and amazing. Please know that we will always honor the bravery it took for you get to this place and will do our best to raise this child with warmth, love, support, encouragement, and a deep feeling of connectedness to family. The love you feel for the child that you are bringing into this world must be so strong. How else could you decide to choose a new family for your child and trust that we will be the parents you wish for?
Our journey to parenting has not been without struggles, but through it all we have grown closer and our relationship stronger. We have no doubt that together we will provide a loving, safe, supportive, and nurturing life for a child. It is our hope that you will be part of that journey for the child’s sake as well as yours and ours. Our wish is for our child to know and celebrate who they are and where they come from.
