Welcome to our family! We are Adam, Laura, Evan, Cooper, and Mr. Whiskers. We are excited to share a little more about ourselves and appreciate you taking the time to get to know us a little more.
We are both from Nebraska and met in college where we became best friends and started dating. We settled in Fort Collins after getting married in 2004. Evan joined our family through Adoption Dreams in January of 2017 and has enriched our lives in so many ways. He is a happy little guy, who will make a wonderful big brother some day! He enjoys reading books, playing outside, and loves playing with his pets. He and Cooper are the best of friends and share lots of fun playtime together every day.
Adam has worked in the nonprofit industry for his entire career, and currently works for the City of Fort Collins, overseeing the grant process for local nonprofits. He is a generous person who is passionate about helping others and volunteering his time in the community. Laura is a mental health therapist and has her own private practice in Fort Collins. She specializes in helping children and adults work through past traumas, so they can have the freedom to have a healthier and happier future.
We are excited to add another child to our family. Becoming parents to Evan has been the greatest thing that has happened to us, and we are eager to give Evan a younger sibling to play and grow up with. Love, nature, creativity, animals, adventure, family, travel, friends, and laughter are the cornerstones of our family.
