Thank you for your time, thoughts, and possible consideration of us as parents for your child. We understand that making this decision for your child does not come lightly or easily. We know your child is already so loved and wanted.
We are both Colorado natives. We are looking forward to growing our family from just the two of us and want to enjoy everything our beautiful state has to offer together with a little one in tow. Holly grew up in the suburbs near The Denver Tech Center/Cherry Creek Reservoir area and Mike was born in Grand Junction and grew up in Lakewood. Holly was fortunate enough to have a teaching career that spanned 23 years teaching mostly Kindergarten and First Grade. As we begin planning for our family, Holly adjusted her career in the fall of 2022, and now works for the Colorado Department of Early Childhood in the Division of Early Learning Licensing & Administration. This career change will, we hope, allow Holly (and Mike at times) to be home when our child is in those first important early years of development. Mike is an IT Director for a local government in the Denver Suburbs (just 10 minutes away from our home). We are settled into our careers and home and are ready to welcome a child into our family.
We did not come into our marriage in a traditional way, as neither of us have been married before, and we found each other a little bit later than most people do. This has taught us not to take a moment with each other for granted, and we will be the same way as parents. We are so lucky to have found each other’s love. This love is precious, and we cannot wait to share that love with a child. We can promise your child will be loved, adored, and protected not only by us, but by our family, including our four-legged ones (we have fur babies, Cosmo & Lexi), and our friends forever. We promise we will do everything in our power to provide them with positive and vast opportunities, be champions for them in both their triumphs and tribulations, and most importantly we promise they will always have a safe place to land full of love, comfort, and support no matter the circumstances!
