Dearest Birth Family,
Knowing that you are reading this and considering us, there is no way to put into words the amount of joy and love that is exploding from our hearts at this very moment. If only there was a way for your heart to know how much we already respect you, treasure you and thank you. There are truly no words that will ever express this incredible gift. We believe that adoption is our path towards parenthood and we couldn’t ask for a better birth parent than you.
Our path to parenthood has had its challenges as we eventually learned that Jenny would not be able to conceive naturally. The years of waiting and wondering when we would become parents, at times, felt like we were drowning; but adoption has allowed our hearts to finally feel like we can come up for air. It has always been in our hearts, always a plan to grow our family. While it may have taken us longer than we had hoped, we have been patiently waiting for you.
We are Jenny & Paul. Married since 2018. Midwestern raised but have called Colorado home for many years and love every part of our lives here. We love all the outdoor things and are very adventurous; we love to take road trips, snowmobile, hike, paddleboard, camp, snowboard, kayak, off-roading, you name it. We look forward to all the adventures we can take our littles on! There is also a calm comforting life that we live when we aren’t out exploring. We have settled in the foothills of Colorado in a small mountain community immersed by beauty from every corner. Our home is so peaceful; surrounded by tall pines and aspens, fully fenced yard for our dogs and future babies. It is our absolute dream property and is warm, inviting and filled with love.
Paul is the Director of Production at an architectural firm. His loyalty and dedication are unmatched. Paul is the ‘jack of all trades’ - mechanic, handyman, cook, electrician, plumber, lumberjack— all rolled into one. He spends time working on old cars, making furniture with the sawmill, and loves the Denver Broncos & Iowa Hawkeyes. Jenny owns her own Real Estate Brokerage and loves helping her clients in the foothills. She enjoys planning vacations/trips, exploring Colorado and absolutely loves her strong group of friends. Our favorite hobby together has been working on our house and making it our forever home. We have two adorable 6-year-old golden retrievers, Trek & Timber (our wedding gifts to each other). They are brothers and littermates. They are the sweetest angels and are so excited for a human sibling to snuggle with. We love where we live, what we do, and are so eager to fill our home with children to complete our family.
With the decision we've made to adopt, our marriage, our love, our bond, and our life has only grown stronger. We cannot wait for the day we bring a child into our home and our lives. Our greatest wish is for our child to grow up knowing and embracing who they are and where they come from, surrounded by love, and understanding. Your child is already loved unconditionally, and we cannot wait to meet you.
