Paul & Christine
We would both like to sincerely thank you for taking the time to read our letter. You’ll discover that we’re a loving, fun, and down to earth family that enjoy the outdoors as well as laughing, dancing, and learning. We know and understand that the decision you are making is complex and difficult but we would like you to know that your child will be embraced, nurtured, loved and cared for in a secure and warm environment.
Paul is an attorney who works with people planning their future. He enjoys assisting others protect their assets or build their dream business. Additionally, he is the founder of a non-profit that brings computers to the classrooms. Christine gave up her long hours as an engineer to pursue her first love of math. She teaches math at a local university part-time and also has an after school tutoring business, helping middle and high school students. She strives to make math approachable and enjoyable.
Christine is originally from California, and loves to dance, rock climb, and garden. After working in Silicon Valley as an engineer for several years, Christine took an extended vacation and spent a month backpacking through Italy. She has had the travel bug ever -since and has been to Latin America twice. Also, Paul and Christine have been to Europe twice since being married visiting Greece, Germany, England, Holland, and Iceland. Christine and Paul look forward continue their travels, to experience new places, and different cultures.
Paul is originally from New Jersey and likes to skateboard, snowboard, and golf. He worked as a teacher, in Colorado, for several years. Recently, he decided to return to the practice law. Working from a virtual office he is able to stay at home more and help around the house. Paul comes from a family of educators, and strongly believes the greatest gift you can give to a child is a good education.
Our house is full of fun and creativity. We love to play board games, put together puzzles, and do “arts and crafts”. Gardening has become quite a hobby for us. We enjoy frequenting the Denver Botanic Gardens throughout the year. We grow many of our own vegetables; Christine is always finding creative ways to prepare meals. We love to camp and fish in the summer and snowboard in the winter.
Family and friends mean a great deal to both of us. Paul’s parents visit quite often from New Jersey and we frequently travel to California to visit Christine’s relatives, as well as her friends whom she considers family.
We always wanted to have a family but after several years of trying to have a child biologically we have been led down the path to adoption. We are excited about the open adoption process and growing our family through love.
