A Letter to Our Birth Family
Dear Birth Family,
We are Shawna and Ben, both Colorado natives. While we haven’t met you yet, we think about you every day.
We can’t yet imagine your journey, or all of the things that you’re currently going through. We know you must feel overwhelmed. This decision to pick an adoptive family for your child has to be unimaginably difficult.
Know that you are surrounded by love.
We’re here, ready to pour our love into raising your precious little one as our own. We want to give them the world, whether that is giving them opportunities to express themselves through art and music, playing sports, exploring the world, or anything else they might enjoy. We’re here and we’re ready to give them a chance to thrive and flourish into the best little human they can be.
We have strong family values. With grandparents, an aunt and an uncle, ready to spoil and celebrate this little one with us, your baby will be surrounded by amazing people and so much love.
We wish we could hug you right now. We’re excited to meet you and would be honored to be the family you pick to raise your child.
